Katie Fowler is an artist, creativity coach and teacher. After a lifetime of "making" stuff and experiencing creativity first hand, she is now coaching, writing and teaching about creativity in addition to making art in her studio. Katie works primarily in textiles; painting, layering and stitching white cotton fabric.

"Revery" Inner Landscape.  "Revery" represents what happens under a mask of busy-ness worn to facilitate daydream journeys through innter landscapes. The mask is based on the traditional idea of the quilt: three or more layers connected by thread. White cotton fabric is the canvas. Colors, line, shape and textures are layered using paints and inks. The layers are then hand and machine quilted before being adhered to the mask.
