Description

Linda Jackson was born in Clovis, New Mexico. She has lived most of her life in Denver.  Linda had an active professional life prior to her retirement. She was a social worker for both the City of Denver and Denver County.  Along with a love of crafts and painting, Linda continues to love helping others. Since moving into Garden Terrace, Linda has offered her assistance to peers and to the recreation staff with activity programs.  Linda has become involved in the "Memories in the Making" art project, which is sponsored by the Alzheimer's Association. This year one of her watercolors won first place. When asked what her inspiration for the mask was, Linda found her thoughts difficult to put into words.  All of Linda's art flows from her heart. There is always a little part of herself in her work.  She titled the mask "Two Super Starry Eyes."  The eyes are the window into the soul and for Linda, each person that looks at the mask should walk away with their own vision of the heart and soul.
