Michael Kessler has been painting and sculpturing professionally for a number of years. He taught oil painting for seven years, and he is a versatile artist in both subject matter and media, working in oil, clay, pencil and ink. His art studies started at Central State University of Oklahoma and he's a graduate of Colorado Institute of Art. Michael's work is represented in both public and private collections and he has exhibited in galleries in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Taos, New Mexico; and Denver, Colorado; as well as in many juried, invitational and open shows. Acrylic paint, rhinestones, gold foil paper and cording with tassels were used on Michaels mask, "Carnival in Rio.
