Chef Mary Nguyen opened Parallel Seventeen, a contemporary Vietnamese French Infusion Bistro, in 2005 to wide acclaim. She followed the success of P17 with Street Kitchen Asian Bistro, inspired by the street foods of Asia, in winter of 2010. In December 2013 she welcomed her third restaurant, Olive & Finch, a European-inspired Eatery, Bakery and Market. My inspiration for this mask comes from all three of my restaurants. . The chopsticks were added to showcase my love for my heritage, a thing that I hold close to my heart. The use of colored glitter gives the mask another eye-popping dimension, to show that I am not always business and I do have a fun side.
