Description

"In spite of all the beading, I am a locally and nationally recognized oil painter," Sheri Farabaugh says.  "This April, I was honored to be selected as an Artist to Watch by Southwest Art magazine.  Realism is my main focus, and although I challenge myself with different subjects, I am drawn to painting waterscapes in a way you may not have previously seen.  I am represented locally by Arts at Denver, and Horton Fine Art in Beaver Creek;  my work can be seen at www.sherifarabaugh.com."

Special Instructions

The mask, which I call Goldie Locks and the Thirty Three Bears, is hand beaded.  There are hundreds (probaby close to a couple thousand) of silver-plated beads and gold beads glued to the mask.  The hair is hand-coiled gold colored wire, and the mask is outlined with Zuni-style howlite bear fetishes and other glass beads giving the mask its name.
