"Naomi Haverland is a portrait artist in Denver, Colorado. She spends most of her time painting and doing laundry.  Naomi says, ""This was my first year participating in the Mask Project.  The possibilities for how to design my mask were so broad, but the word 'mask' itself brought to mind an image of an animal that itself appears to be wearing a beautiful mask-- the mandrill baboon.  This monkey is one of my favorite animals at the zoo because of its colorful face markings.  I hope this mask finds its way to the home of someone else who is a lover of animals and a lover of color, just like me! ""
