Kendra Custer is the co-owner of Anthology Fine Art, a custom framing boutique and portrait photography studio in the Art District on Santa Fe. She has been a portrait photographer in the Denver area for the last seven years.  This mask is “a mixed media piece inspired by objects and imagery from my childhood,” Kendra says.  “The fabric and paper are remnants of amazing women who came before me and instilled an appreciation for creating beauty, whether that be a quilt, a pie or a photograph of a newborn. Butterflies have a very short life span and represent the blink of an eye.  I now realize that was the time I had as a child.”
