Hyla Sloane is a 4th generation Denverite. A well-known philanthropist, Ms. Sloane has served on The Denver Hospice Board of Directors for more than 10 years. In addition, she has long been active in Temple Sinai, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and the Denver Art Museum. Ms. Sloane is a member of the University of Denver Alumni Relations Board and was a part of the recent 150th Anniversary Founders Day celebrations. Although not professionally trained, Ms. Sloane has decorated a mask since The Mask Projects inception. Her previous masks represented a deep, meaningful themes. However, this year she decided to make a mask that is simply pretty, fun, and happy. It is called "Evening Glow.
