Arvada Police Department prides itself on the professionalism of its police officers. All Arvada police officers must possess a four-year degree from an accredited university prior to being hired by the Department, one of the few law enforcement agencies in the State of Colorado who carry this requirement. Mask Artist Scott D. Jarvis has served the Arvada community for nineteen years as a sergeant. Of his mask he states, “I chose to create the mask in the manner I did because I thought it would be fun to create something the way I did when I was a boy in art class”.
