In my photographs and Intaglio prints of Ravens, Crows, and Sandhill Cranes I am after portraits. My bird portraits invite the viewer to really take in and connect with the spirit of a specific bird. This mask is a gel transfer of an Intaglio Print of a Raven. The mask began as a photograph of a Raven in Yellowstone. From my photographs I work with solar plates and then run an Intaglio print on watercolor paper. This is then reproduced as a photographic print again and captured in the gel transfer.
