Rick Mason has been the Learning Specialist at Brandeis Hillel Day School for the past 10 years.  He has earned the following credentials: elementary, secondary social science, Resource Specialist, Learning Handicapped, and Emotionally Handicapped.  Rick has taught students and classes ranging from kindergarten through collee level, and raning ability from learning disabled through socially gifted.

Rick draws from this rich background to provide chldren and families with:

• Academic assessment and consultation fro unique needs


• Reading instruction for students struggling due to dyslexia, other learning diffferences, poor comprehension, or anxiety


• Academic and organizational support for ADD/ADHD


• Math instruction for students who struggle due to a history of poor math acquisition or learning differences that have made it diffficult to master math concepts, number facts, or the four operations with whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and percentages.


• Enrichment for academically gifted learners
