Description

Robbins, son of eminent economist an education reformer Lord Lionel Robbins, was a prominent artist and sculptor in the North London art scene in the second half of the 20th century.  He was noted for depiction of still life and landscapes and exhibited regularly in Highgate, London. He also had exhibitions in Tokyo and had a couple of paintings accepted by the Royal Academy in London.  His sculptures of human figures, rendered in bronze, have an international following. Robbins also taught for many years in the Homsey College of Art in London.  He passed away in 2008.
