Description
Behind-the-Scenes Tour of American Museum of Natural History's Dinosaur Collections with the collections manager for Fossil Amphibian, Reptile, and Bird Collections in the Division of Paleontology The tour will be approximately an hour.
It will include the Vertebrate Paleontology Lab where specimens are cleaned for study and a dinosaur fossil collection storage area. This tour is geared for adults. No one under the age of 12 will be admitted.
Special Instructions
Up to 6 people, 12 or older (NO EXCEPTIONS).
Tour must be taken within a year.
Auction winner should contact donor to schedule a mutually-agreeable time and date after 5pm on a weekday.
1) Absolutely no touching of anything is allowed at any time on the tour unless offered.
2) Absolutely no wandering is permitted at any time. The group must stay together.
3) Photographs (no videos) are allowed only in the storage area and as long as they are not published without permission from our department.
4) Children must be under constant adult supervision by their guardians.
