For 10 years, co-owner Solveig Tofte was the head baker at Turtle Bread Company, located in south Minneapolis. In the Spring of 2008 Solveig competed at the Coupe du Monde de la Boulangerie in Paris as the captain and breads representative on the Bread Bakers Guild Team USA 2008. In January 2009 she joined the Board of the Bread Bakers Guild of America, a group dedicated to the education of artisan bakers around the country. Sun Street Breads is owned and operated by Solveig and her husband, Martin Ouimet.
