Now in our 38th season, the People’s Light & Theatre Company is a non-profit, professional theatre founded in 1974 by Danny Fruchter, Meg Fruchter, Ken Marini, and Dick Keeler. These artists were committed to making theatre rooted in service to the community. Today, this founding principle remains central to our core mission: to make plays drawn from many sources to entertain, inspire and engage our community. We hope that these plays and programs bring people together and provide opportunities for reflection, discovery and celebration.
