Cindy McIntyre is a photographer/writer from Tacoma, Washington where she ran a successful photo studio and produced two books: "Tacoma" and "Seattle, Tacoma, and the Puget Sound Region."  She has won awards in portraiture, fine art, journalism, photojournalism, and screenplay writing.  She consistently wins awards at juried art shows across the country, and her images reside in corporate and private collections throughout the world.  

She visited Maine one summer to work on an organic farm and fell in love with the region's beauty and village atmosphere.  She has relocated to mid-coast Maine to renew her art, find community, and express beauty.

In the last few years, Cindy has departed from the strict realism of color photography, moving into the painterly realm of the hand-colored black-and-white image.  Pumpkins... Oxford, Maine is a beautiful example of that technique.
