Blake Hill Preserves makes artisanal jams, chutneys and marmalades in our Vermont-cottage kitchen using fruit that is sun-ripened on the vine and sourced from local farms when in season. We hand select all of the fruit that goes into our line of unique and inspired all-natural preserves. With each jar of jam, chutney and marmalade, we strive to capture the pure essence of fruit at its peak of ripeness using recipes inspired by our unique culinary heritage and by our travels around the world.

Blueberries & Summer Plum
Plump, sun ripened blueberries slowly cooked with a fresh delicately flavored plum creates a bright, fruity & juicy jam.
"When we moved to Blake Hill in 2004, we discovered the juiciest, most succulent blueberries growing at a nearby farm. We created this jam to celebrate the pure essence of those berries, which we pair with ripe summer plums and a splash of fresh organic lemon juice to make a silky, smooth and perfect sweet-tart preserve.
Combine a dollop of this jam with a dash of soy sauce for a delicious, Asian-inspired glaze for sautéed duck breast. "
Cranberry, Apple & Mulling Spices
Heaps of Vermont cranberries slowly simmered with heirloom apples, red peppers, raisins and mulling spices creates a deliciously rich chutney bursting with the favorite flavors of the holiday season.
Always a favorite at this time of year, our Limited Edition Vermont Cranberry, Heirloom Apple & Mulling Spices chutney was completely inspired by all the wonderful flavors that burst forth during the holidays.
This beautifully rich yet delightfully fruity chutney is packed with local cranberries that are simmered with some of our favorite heirloom apples (e.g. Reine des Reinettes, Belle De Boskoop and Northern Spy), fresh red peppers, oranges, onions, apple cider vinegar, just a little pure cane sugar, and our own uique blend of mulling spices.
This special chutney is perfect with roast turkey, chicken and roasted root veggies - esp. our favorite parsnips! Or simply spread this chutney onto thick-sliced country bread, add a slice of aged Cheddar and you have the fixings for the ultimate grilled cheese sandwich!
Favorite feedback so far this year is from a customer in NYC...."We recently bought a jar of your Cranberry Chutney and loved it - it was the first time that a full jar of Cranberry "Sauce" was fully eaten at any dinner I've ever had!"

Orange, Lime & Ginger
Fresh organic oranges and limes simmered with delicate slithers of organic crystallized ginger creates a very bright, fresh, full flavored marmalade.

Taking a cue from the flavors of Asian cuisine, this zingy marmalade combines fresh organic oranges and zesty, fragrant organic limes with slices of organic crystallized ginger for an intense, full-flavored marmalade.

Fresh organic oranges, and a very generous splash of a "top shelf" 10-year Single Malt Whisky creates a very special rich, warm and complex marmalade. Perfect paired with baked brie, or drizzled over vanilla ice cream with a little shaved dark chocolate!
Fresh organic oranges and whisky are a match made in marmalade heaven. In this complex, rich marmalade, we simmer fresh organic orange with a top shelf, full flavored 10-Year Single Malt Whisky from Scotland.
Spread a thin layer of this atop a flourless, chocolate cake for a decadent dessert your friends will remember!

Apricot & Fresh Orange
Apricots and fresh oranges slowly simmered with coriander, cinnamon and mustard seeds creates a wonderfully rich, fruity and slightly sweet chutney.
This vibrant, golden chutney is inspired by the fragrant colors and aromas of the ancient Moorish markets in Granada, Spain. We start with tender, dried organic apricots that we soak in apple cider vinegar and simmer with fresh Valencia oranges, local heirloom apples, ginger, coriander and cinnamon.
We love this chutney paired with blue and smoked cheeses, grilled salmon and roast chicken.
