Description
A Family Pass admits one Family, up to two adults and up to four children (under the age of 18), to the Atlanta History Center's main Buckhead campus or the Margaret Mitchell House, located at our midtown campus. Call for holiday hours.
By redeeming the pass at the Atlanta History Center (130 West Paces Ferry Road), guests will receive admission to the entire 33 acre campus of the Atlanta History Center, which includes the interactive Atlanta History Museum and the Centennial Olympic Games Museum, tours of the 1860s Smith Family Farm and 1928 Swan House, and six beautiful gardens and trails. House tours end at 4:00 p.m.
By redeeming the pass at The Margaret Mitchell House (990 Peachtree Street) guests will receive all-inclusive admission to the Margaret Mitchell House, birthplace of Gone With The Wind, where they can enjoy guided tours of Mitchell's apartment where she wrote the award-winning novel, and explore two exhibitions, Margaret Mitchell: A Passion for Character and The Making of a Movie Legend: Gone With the Wind. Last house tour at 4:30 p.m.

The Atlanta History Museum at the Atlanta History Center is one of the largest history museums in the nation, featuring award-winning signature exhibitions that tell the story of the region's people, from its earliest settlers to the international city of today. Be sure to check our calendar for listings of our current temporary exhibitions. The Atlanta History Museum also includes a unique Museum Shop and Chick-fil-A at the Coca Cola Café.
The Margaret Mitchell House, is located on a two-acre site in the heart of Midtown Atlanta. The Margaret Mitchell House is a designated city landmark listed on the National Register of Historic Places, a popular tourist destination, and home to the award-winning Literary Center at the Margaret Mitchell House. The Margaret Mitchell House features guided tours of the apartment where Margaret Mitchell wrote Gone With the Wind, two exhibitions – The Making of a Film Legend: Gone With the Wind and Margaret Mitchell: A Passion for Character, and the Margaret Mitchell House gift shop.
