Description
This limited edition ornament is made out of copper from the original roof of the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C. The original, worn copper, dated to be from 1897 according to the original brochure enclosed with the ornament, was replaced with new copper in 1996. The ornament has a saying from Thomas Jefferson, "I cannot live without books." The ornament was made in 2001, and is #9,644 out of a run of 10,000 pieces. This would make a great addition to your collectibles!
