The James A. Michener Art Museum is presenting “From Philadelphia to Monaco: GRACE KELLY-Beyond the Icon”  from Oct. 28, 2013 through Jan.26, 2014. Museum visitors will be immersed in the world of Grace Kelly and invited to discover the life and legacy of the Oscar-winning American actress and Princess of Monaco. Photographs, film clips, home movies, archival documents from the Palace of Monaco, and pieces from her personal and theatrical wardrobe paint an intimate portrait of the woman behind the fairy tale.  The exhibition  offers the opportunity for visitors to view items from the Palace of Monaco, including mementos from her 1956 marriage to Prince Rainier III of Monaco, the shoes worn at their civil wedding ceremony, and love notes to Kelly from Prince Rainier III.  The exhibition is presented by the PNC Arts Alive Initiative, Bucks County Conference and Visitors Bureau, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco and the Princess Grace Foundation-USA. Additional support is provided by the Consulate General of Monaco in New York/Monaco Government Tourist Office, Fox Rothschild LLP, Macy's, Thompson Lexus and the members of Friends of Grace.

The winning bidder will need to establish a mutually agreed upon date and time for the tour with the Curator. The tour may be in December or January but must be scheduled as soon as possible after the auction.
