Description

Although he only spent three seasons in New York with the Mets Endy Chavez has secured his legacy within the organization. On October 19 2006 during the 6th inning of Game 7 of the 2006 National League Championship Series the Mets and Cardinals were tied at 1. With a runner on first and one out Chavez raced back to the wall leapt and robbed Scott Rolen of a 2-run home run. He subsequently relayed the ball back to first base to double off the runner and end the inning. It is considered among the greatest catches in post season history.

Endy Chavez has hand signed this framed 8x10 photograph commemorating his historic catch. A Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity is included.
