In 1978, Xavier Roberts, a young artist from the small town of Cleveland, Georgia, brought to life his hand-stitched soft sculpture artworks known as Little People.  Today known as the Cabbage Patch Kids, this worldwide phenomenon continues to capture the hearts and imaginations of children and adults everywhere.

Every Cabbage Patch Doll is a hand-stitched individual work of art. No two are ever exactly alike. These dolls are signed by Xavier Roberts on their "tush". They do not have original packaging or documentation.

These Cabbage Patch kids dolls are from the year they were made in 1978, 1982 - an original Appalachian artworks Inc. 17" doll. Both dolls have the Cabbage Patch kid label on their side and are in very good condition (one doll is missing undergarment).
