Private pottery lesson for two includes 1 hour for training, 1 hour for trimming and 1 hour for glazing. 

Cynthia Curtis is a full-time potter and teacher and holds a B.S. in Education. She began making pots in 1976 and founded Cynthia Curtis Pottery in 1995. Cynthia offers pottery classes and is grateful for the almost 1000 students of all ages and abilities that have found their way to share the warm and bright pottery studio. Pottery classes are offered year-round to adults and children (seven and up) of all skill levels. Classes are held in a fun, relaxed environment. Laughing and breathing encouraged! Students work at their own pace with an instructor available for guidance as needed. 

A North Shore native, Cynthia has always been drawn to the ocean and its vastly changing colors. Her wheel-thrown and hand-built, high-fire stoneware pottery is glazed in a range of blues, greens, purples, and whites. Inspired by nature, Cynthia integrates shells, stones, and coral as well as environmental motifs into her work.
