These beautiful professional photographs by the late Dorothy Holby are 8x10 matted and ready to frame and signed by the artist. Dorothy was born in Chicago in 1922 and taught Spanish at Northeastern Illinois College in Chicago until 1978. After retiring, she took drawing and photography courses and exhibited mnay paintings and photographs in the 1980's and 90's at the Oakbrook Art show. She began to specialize in photographing cats and contributed to magazines and calendars where her work was featured on numerous magazine covers and calendars. She was a regular contributor to Cat Fancy magazine. In addition, she was an author, and published over fifty articles on cat behavior and photography. She and her husband always had rescue cats and fostered others until homes were found. She passed away at age 90 in 2012 with two cats by her sidel.
