Description

The Animals of the Adirondacks is a picture frame puzzle and brain teaser that measures 7" x 7" and includes ten animals found in the Adirondacks (loon, porcupine, snake, beaver, otter, heron, turtle, moose, bear, trout). The animal pieces nestle together in one specific way to complete the puzzle. It uses 1/4" thick hardwoods with at least four different woods in each puzzle. Every piece is precision laser cut and varies depending on the type of wood (walnut, oak, alder, cherry, maple, ash, pine, and mahogany).

The puzzle is manufactured in the U.S.A by Creative Crafthouse® and was designed by Allison Romig.  Her family has been coming to the Adirondacks for several generations and her grandfather was a founding member of the Adirondack Council.

The mission of the Adirondack Council is to ensure the ecological integrity and wild character of New York State’s six-million-acre Adirondack Park for current and future generations.
