Description
"I am an artist, teacher, mother, and grandmother. I have always had a passion for art, however, I took fifteen years off from art while raising a family with my husband. Now that the children are grown and my responsibilites are less, I am pursuing my career as an artist while teaching part-time at Rhode Island College and at the Providence Art Club.
I have attended and received degrees in studio painting and educational design from Rhode Island College and Boston University. I am an artist member of the Providence Art Club, Wickford Art Association and Pawtucket Arts Collaborative. Over the years my work has been accepted in many juried shows and received awards for outstanding works from the Wickford Art Association, the 2008 members show at the Providence Art Club and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts. My work has been displayed in Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse’s DC office, General Dynamics Electric Boat Divison Executive Board Room, private homes in the mid-west, throughout New England, Ireland and Germany.
My studio is located at the Historic Deacon Taylor Studios which is the yellow colonial building next door to the Dodge House Gallery at the Providene Art Club. I am located on the first floor front suite."
