This 205-page hardcover book is the autobiographic story of the lives of fifty-nine of the participants on the 1948, 1949 and 1950 University of California Rose Bowl Teams.

Edited by Sports Illustrated's Ron Fimrite, the book includes introductory presentations by Clark Kerr, Glenn Seaborg, Paul Christopulos, Eggs Manske and the Waldorf daughters, Mary Louise Osborne and Carolyn Pickering. Thirty-four pages of photos feature the teams, coaches, All-Americans, and action of Cal's back-to-back-to-back champions.

Also included is an appendix listing the statistical records of the three teams, inductees into the various Halls of Fame, the All-Americans, as well as a complete roster of all the players from the 1947-56 seasons.
