Description

Get 4 Unlimited Ride Wristbands and enjoy a day at Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier.

Santa Monica's old  fashioned pier is old fashioned fun. You don't need to convince the kids and  adults to leave the computers, television sets and video games behind. The  primal green, orange, purple, red and blue colors of Pacific Park are  brighter than any video game or HDT screen to bring you outstanding, real  world colors set against the backdrop of the Pacific blue ocean and  California sky.

Billed as the only  amusement park on an oceanfront pier along the West Coast, it includes a  2-acre amusement park that offers rides, midway games and an over-the-ocean  food plaza. Opened in 1996, the facility includes more than 2,000 parking  spaces for those who prefer not to walk. While parking on the pier is  charged, entry to the amusement is free. Each ride or game is charged a fee  with an unlimited all-day wristband sold for unlimited use of rides.

Often seen on Los Angeles  news and weather reports (via a Pier Cam),  it is popular as a film location for movies  and television. On a Hollywood tour, we learned that this pier contains the  generic elements sought for the filming of "Any Town USA".  Open daily,  Pacific Park features 12 rides such as Pacific Wheel, the world’s first  solar-powered Ferris wheel which soars nine stories high and lifts riders  more than 130 feet above the Pacific Ocean. Other rides include West Coaster, a steel roller  coaster; Pacific Plunge, a 45-foot tall tower ride that propels riders more  than four stories high above the Pacific Ocean; Sea Dragon; Inkie’s  Scrambler; Sig Alert; Ship Ahoy, a swinging ship ride; Inkie's Lil'  Scrambler; Red Baron; Pier Patrol; Crazy Submarine and Frog Hopper.   Miniature Golf is a small 9-hole course and the midway's Pier Pressure Zone  with 21 games provide a day of fun.
