Description

This beautiful Lenox bone china (demitasse) cup and saucer has the Lenox Logo with the J.J. Freeman Co., Toledo O mark beneath.  We wrote to Lenox to find out why it had a name under the logo and were told that between 1905 and 1945 Lenox did special orders for some companies,  in this case J.J. Freeman jewelers in Toledo.  No records were kept during that time so no further info was forthcoming.

The cup measures 2 1/2 inches across and 2 1/4 inches high.  The saucer is 4 1/2 inches across.  There is 3/4 inch gold trim (more than likely 24 karat).  Handwritten is 1306/m.139

A great item for the collector to display.  We have no idea as to the actual worth.
