THE PIANO LESSON is August Wilson’s play about an African-American family in 1936 Pittsburgh struggling to face its past and move into the future. Boy Willie, Bereneice, Doaker and Wining Boy are among the most enduring characters yet written for the American stage. (Recommended for ages 12 and up)
