Beautiful accessory for your vanity!

This style of dresser box was popular during the Victorian- Art Nouveau period, and is referenced in Ettinger's Antique Dresser Sets 1890s - 1950s, where these are referred to as powder jars.

The brass metal features a lovely embossed floral pattern of pansies throughout.  The powder jar or trinket box measures about 5" tall x 3" in diameter and with only slight wear to the metal, due to age and mainly on the inside, otherwise is in excellent condition.
