Lovely!

This porcelain plate was made in Japan during the NIPPON era (pre-1921).  It has a glossy white finish, and  has a wide pale-green bans adorned with hand painted bouquets of pink roses around the edge.  The floral patterns alternate with geometric designs.  Bright metallic gold trim outlines the edges

The plate measures 8" in diameter.  The plate is marked on the bottom in red with the words "Hand Painted" above the word "NIPPON" in green block letters.

There are no chips, cracks or scratches on the plate, but the gold trim around the edge shows slight wear.
