Dr. Erica Sutton, Assistant Professor of Surgery for the University of Louisville School of Medicine and practicing surgeon at KentuckyOne Health’s Jewish Hospital specializes in advanced minimally invasive procedures and surgical endoscopy. She will invite you to observe a surgery at Jewish Hospital, have lunch, and tour a simulation center where you will get to perform surgery in a virtual reality environment.
If you are thinking medicine is a career for you, this would be an amazing opportunity to learn first hand what it takes to be a surgeon.
