Bound to be a momentus performance.  The UMS Choral Union and the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra join together to perform the seven-movement Brahms German Requiem on April 14, 2014, 8:00 p.m., at the Hill Auditorium in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  Considered to be one of his pinnacle works, this deeply moving piece was written by Brahms following the death of his mother, composed as a consolation to those left behind rather than as a mass for the dead.  Be inspired by this performance by chorus, orchestra, and soprano and bass soloists.
