An outstanding bird reference on our local bird populations by the much-loved Bert Hopkins, doctor and birder.  The first section of the book contains Monthly Field Notes describing the changing local bird population from month-to-month.  The second section is a detailed bird listing for the last half of the 1900's including arrival and departure dates for seasonal migrants, geographical location of sightings, and more.  This book is out-of-print and difficult to come by.
