Description
George R. Brouilette has built over 2,100 bluebird houses in the past 20 years! This house is built from a design by Lil Files, past president of the North American Bluebird Society. Made of rough pine so that birds can cling to it without an added perch. It features air vents on each side of the top, a recessed floor with drainage holes at the corners, a wire screen floor to help protect nestlings from blowfly, and an extra layer of wood around the entrance hole that acts as a predator guard. The door pivots and opens to allow you to inspect the nest and to clean out the box after each nesting. Become a friend to the bluebirds, like George!
Details: Rough pine (do not paint); measures (at largest points) 9" wide x 9" deep x 12" high.
