Witness the fastest land mammal up close and personal doing what it does best, run!  The new Cheetah Run, located near Lion Camp, is a unique, jaw dropping experience for all guests.  During Cheetah Run, the sleek cat races on a straight 330-foot track that allows it to really stretch its legs and reach maximum speed of about 70 miles per hour.

For an extra special Cheetah Run experience, your Cheetah Safari offers reserved track side seating to watch this same lightening-quick cheetah just feet away as it whooshes by in hot pursuit of a mechanical lure.

Before the cat makes its entrance, you can relax in our Cheetah Safari seating area while being treated to a private up-close encounter with another African animal.  After our cheetah star has finished his or her sprint, the large cat and its trainer will come over for an exclusive meet-and-greet opportunity.  Have your camera ready!

This experience is for 4 people and also includes admission to the San Diego Safari Park for 4 people; and complimentary parking.
