Katie Robinson is a local artist who has been interested in art her entire life.  She begins each piece by observing color in everything from paint decks to fabric, or even the inside a piece of fruit. She starts with an unprimed raw canvas: first soaking the canvas with water, then pouring paint onto it. She continues this process of layering colors until it seems balanced.
