Description
Wine Country Adventure Getaway
Calling all Pinot Noir fans... Brooks Note Winery and Weir Family Ranch & Vineyard are offering an in-depth wine tasting followed by a progressive gourmet lunch in the beautiful Anderson Valley for two couples. The adventure also includes an overnight stay for two lucky couples in a lovely two bedroom suite at The Madrones in Philo.
Your group will start the day with a private barrel tasting with Park's own Winemaker Garry Brooks at Brooks Note Winery in Forestville, where you'll get a chance to experience the fine art of winemaking with an expert.

Following the tasting, the Weir and Brooks families will host a progressive gourmet lunch, with wine pairings for each course, on the grounds of the Weir Vineyard in the Yorkville Highlands (the gateway to the Anderson Valley). Donnie Weir and Garry Brooks will host you and your friends on a guided vineyard tour where you will learn why Weir Vineyard grapes are sought after by winemakers such as Williams Selyem, Drew, & Talisman, Brooks Note and more. As a memento of the day, you will take home a magnum of Brooks Note 2012 Weir Vineyard Pinot Noir and a magnum of Brooks Note 2012 Marin County Pinot Noir.
At the end of the day, both couples can continue on to the town of Philo (20 minutes away) for an overnight stay at The Madrones. Please note, if needed, you will have a designated driver who can drive you (in your own car) down to the B&B.
About The Madrones:
The Madrones is a Mediterranean-inspired compound that serves as a community outpost for local artisans; it’s home to four vintners (Bink Wines, Drew Family Cellars, Knez Winery, and Signal Ridge), a rural lifestyle shop, a wood fired Pizzeria (Stone & Embers), several estate guest quarters, a culinary kitchen garden for local produce, serene courtyards and carefully manicured English gardens. The Madrones and its artisan partners have created the Anderson Valley definition of an Italian “Agriturismo”, a destination that offers a slice of localized country living with a focus on the region’s wine, food, arts and beauty.
Special Instructions
The stay at the Madrones is a one night, weekend (Fri/Sat or Sun night) stay between 12/14 and 4/14, to be made in advance and subject to availability. For reservations between 4/15 and 12/13, the stay at the Madrones is a one night, week (Mon - Thurs) night stay.
The tour and tasting with Garry Brooks at Brooks Note Winery can be redeemed separately from the vineyard lunch and stay at the Madrones, subject to prior arrangement with Garry. All dates will be mutually agreed upon in advance with the Brooks and Weirs.
