Description
17" x 21" framed
Limited edition, reproduction and silk screen print by one of America's leading wildlife artists - Guy Coheleach.
His gift for painting character, motion and life into his birds and animals is as deep as his thirst for adventure.
Guy has been chased by elephants, raced open cockpit autos, climbed mountains, tracked eagles, lions and rhinos, caught rattlesnakes, cobras and pythons all over the world. Elected a fellow to the prestigious Explorers Club he was also the youngest member ever admitted to the Adventurer’s Club of New York.
His first trip to Africa came about by his winning a trip to London in the Winchester National Trap and Skeet Championships. His big game portraits are a result of that and future trips. His versatility was well known in the advertising field from which he started and may be seen now in the range of his wildlife paintings from the breathtaking beauty of an egret, the fear of a gazelle being chased by a cheetah, the comic poses of a panda to the thundering fury of an angry elephant.
Coheleach’s American Eagle was chosen by the State Department, prints of which are presented to visiting heads of state. Hanging in the White House for the President of the United States is one of his finest elephants.
