The Entire Admission Process
With greater competition for admission, scholarships, and enrollment in honors classes, a test preparation course is an important tool for success. A greater advantage is a course that offers academic review, as well as guidance and strategies for success on the entrance exam, the interview, and the essay.
The Success Test Prep Course:
~consists of 6 classes and an optional make-up review class
~focuses on each child’s individual needs
~provides for both long-term and intense final review
~covers content as well as strategies
~enhances the students’ confidence and knowledge
What is Covered:
~all academic content review
~time management strategies
~strategies about how to answer best each type of question
~strategies about when and how to guess
~tips on how to write the essay, including 3 corrected essays with notes
~tips on how to be successful during the interview, including a practice interview
Teacher:
Maureen Linehan, who was a faculty member at Ramona Convent Secondary School for 17 years, has been successfully tutoring, motivating, and preparing students for the entrance exams for twenty five years.

Special Instructions
Includes all materials: text book, binder with dividers and paper, supplemental materials, pencil pouch with flash cards, rings, post-its, hi-lighter
We conduct 4 different sessions in order to keep maintain a reasonable class size, accommodate busy schedules and allow those taking an early test in December to complete the course prior to the exam.
Early Sessions: For students taking an early test on December 7, 2013, or to get started early,
we offer both a Saturday or Sunday session.
(Mayfield, FSHA and IHSS all give a test in December)
