The very personally decorated and well-loved family cottage is located in Salvo, North Carolina which is on Hatteras Island about 30 miles South of Nags Head on Highway 12 just South of mile marker 42. Lots of extra touches not found in most rental properties....you'll love it.

The cottage is on the ocean side about a block from the beach. BEACH access is only a short 8 minute walk down to the end of the street, across the dunes, and There It Is! A very private and unpopulated beach most weeks. The sound is a 15 minute walk west. You can enjoy sound access on a dock across the highway for special sound sunset watching! We bring a bottle of wine, and a camera!
