Award winning quilter Michelle Howe designed and custom quilted this beautiful “Hands of Love” quilt for the Franklin Magnet School 2014 auction, “A Night Under the Stars.”

The 63” X 63” quilt was made using 15 blocks created by the students of Frau Elke Tupanjanin’s kindergarten class of 2014. The students dipped their hands in paint and held them in a way to create a heart shape that was translated to fabric. Each unique heart was signed by the student and included the phrase “I Love You” written in German. Additional blocks were created using strips of Moda fabric.

This memory quilt makes a wonderful and unique keepsake that will forever remind you of the magic of childhood.
