Cara Tomlinson is a painter based in the Pacific Northwest. She is a recipient of numerous national artist residency fellowships and an Individual Artist Fellowship from the Oregon Arts Commission.  In the last few years, the breadth of Tomlinson’s studio practice has expanded to include video installation and sculpture. Her work has been shown in solo and group shows in museums and galleries nationally.  Currently Tomlinson lives and works in Portland, Oregon, where she is an associate professor of art at Lewis and Clark College.
