Founded by the Pitt family in 1928 in Goshen, VA, Camp Virginia for boys has a spirit that has been continuously nurtured by campers, counselors and alumni. All phases of camp life stress integrity, unselfishness and gratitude. Here in the midst of the beautiful Allegheny Mountains and the Maury River, the founders' goals of building character and developing well-rounded campers will always be pursued. The Pitt family's love and guidance of the Camp Virginia campers and counselors for over 80 years has been their trademark in building a diverse, loving and extensive Camp Virginia family. Bid on this three-week summer camp (Session 2) and your son will enjoy activities such as archery, riflery, canoeing, hiking, horseback riding and more.
