African Wood Carving donated by Winnie Wilkinson.


This sculpture is of Great grand mama, Enyonyam. She is 69 years old. Her daughter and granddaughter are both dead due to HIV/AIDS and she is left to take care of herr great-great grand baby - the babies name is Antobam and she is 3 years old. Enyonyam is by the river washing and made thispiece as she raised Antobam in her mind up to God for the strength to be able to live to see her grow up. If you turn over and look at the back of the sculpture you will see the wave of the river. 

Special Instructions

Measures approximately 18" high by 9" wide.  Carving has a hole on the back to be able to hang on a wall.
