The Growing Room Education Council was incorporated as a California non-profit corporation and has been proudly serving the families of the San Ramon Valley since 1989.

Our Philosophy

The Growing Room, in cooperation with parents, provides an excellent extended childcare program.  A safe and nurturing environment promotes growth and development in an atmosphere of warmth and acceptance.

Our Program

Experiences are varied to stimulate intellectual, social, physical and emotional development in all types of learners.  A wide variety of enrichment activities is offered daily.  The children enjoy a fun and diverse curriculum, including academic activities, science, geography, cooking, arts and crafts, music and movement, literature, group games, sports and dramatic play.  The Growing Room also provides a Homework Club, which is offered in a quiet, structured setting with assistance from our staff members.
