Photos cannot do justice to the striking textiles, stitching, and obvious care that went into making this lovely donation. Each piece on its own is lovely; as a collection they are breathtaking. The selection of fabrics includes river stones, fish, water, and striking abstract patterns that evoke nature, streams, and the outdoors. There are even some squares with Norman Rockwell prints. (Trivia: did you know that Norman Rockwell lived just a few miles from where CFR was founded in Vermont?!). Both sides of all the pieces are finished with complementary fabrics, so you can mix and match for all sorts of different looks. For anyone who wants to bring a sense of the beauty and tranquility of the outdoors indoors . . .
