Bid on a very peaceful framed and matted oil painting titled October Trees by artist Karen Perry from Montana.  The size of the painting is 16" x 20". 

When asked what her story is Karen sent in the following "I have been painting for quite a few years, more, lately since I retired as full time business manager for the local school district. I am basically a self-taught artist, although I have taken some classes in the Bob Ross style of oil painting.  Eight years ago I was diagnosed with DCIS (ductal carcinoma in situ) which was at a non-invasive state, had 6 weeks of radiation, and since then no reoccurrence.

My husband and I own a cattle ranch in Southwest Montana, where we run about 100 head of cows and calves, raise hay and some grain.  My first husband died of cancer, and my current husband and I each had 4 children, which we raised together when we joined forces almost 33 years ago.  We now are the proud parents of 8 mature and productive adults, grandparents to 17, and great-grandparents to one."
