 . . . the visionary embrace of independent music icon Ani DiFranco awaits you and a friend at the Rio Theatre in Santa Cruz.

Founder of her own record label, Righteous Babe Records, in 1988 at the age of 18, Ani DiFranco pioneered the rise of independent music and inspired many with her journey of artistic self-determination and freedom. Collaborator with artists as diverse and uncompromising as Prince, Pete Seeger, Cyndi Lauper, and Chuck D of Public Enemy, she is just setting out on the road after the birth of her second child.

Be there to see her when she comes to the Rio, on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at 8pm.
